Humanity is complicated, but our capacity to cooperate, care, learn, and repair is real. These messages preserve the moments that make that capacity visible.
News naturally concentrates on conflict, danger, and failure. Those events matter, but they are not the whole record of human behavior. Most acts of care are local, quiet, and never reported.
Believing in humanity does not require believing that people are perfect. It can mean noticing that people teach, rescue, forgive, organize, build, protect, and begin again—even when doing so is difficult.
The letters below are personal testimony rather than a universal verdict. Together, they offer a wider field of view: humanity seen not only through its crises, but through its daily attempts to respond to them.
